Affiliate Disclosure

How First Wage earns money, and how that affects what you read.

What this means

First Wage participates in affiliate marketing programmes. This means that some of the links to banks, credit card providers, investment platforms and other financial products on this site are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and go on to open an account, apply for a product, or make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the provider, at no extra cost to you.

This never changes our recommendations

Whether or not a link is an affiliate link never determines whether we mention or recommend a product. We aim to give the same honest assessment of a product’s costs, benefits and drawbacks regardless of any commercial relationship.

We do not use misleading design

We do not use deceptive buttons, hidden links, or design tricks to push affiliate clicks. Where a commercial relationship exists, we disclose it, and we clearly label calls to action such as ‘Learn More’ or ‘View Offer’.

Independent research

Our comparisons and reviews are based on publicly available product information such as fees, rates and eligibility criteria. Affiliate partners do not get to review or approve our content before publication.
